I am trying to change in game currency and no matter what settings i set on the search, I just can't seem to find it. Any suggestions? I've tried all the value types, set the value, spent some of the money, then searched the exact new value and just "decreased value" but it seems CE just can't find this specific value

First, set "Value Type" to "All." Try searching for the exact value again. Change it and search again. If it doesn't work. Second, set "Value Type" to "4 Bytes" and search for "Unknown initial value." After changing the value, search an increase or decrease. Without exact numbers. This option might find a value that was changed somehow. You'll have to determine how. And finally, if this doesn't work either. Third, set "4 bytes" and "Unknown initial value" again. But when changing, look for whether the value has simply changed or not. This could reveal the location of the encrypted value. Decrypting it could be a problem.


p.s. There's also the possibility that the cell's location is dynamic and changes every time the value itself changes. In that case, I recommend looking for other options: purchase/sale amounts, loans, transfers. Money can usually be influenced in a variety of ways, and one of them may be more accessible.
