I've recently rediscovered the Wizardry games and gotten impatient enough to consider hacking a scenario disk file for game 5 (Heart of the Maelstrom). Just want better stars and more gold -- not perfection, but enough to afford the temple and the inn more often, maybe get a few good guys' class changed. I've studied some of the scenario-disk hacks available online and have a general idea of where to look/what needs changing. But for the life of me, once I get past the character passwords, I can't tell where the relevant parts of the code start or end. (To simplify the job, O left all my character passwords empty and renamed everyone to a name with the same length (TESTCHRnn, where nn is a 3-digit number between 01 and 1. If any of you can help me use my screenshots to find the right byte addresses, I'd appreciate that very much. Thank you all for your time!
