Hey everyone,
I’ve been banging my head against the wall trying to get DBVM to run, but I’m consistently hitting the "Your cpu must be able to run dbvm to use this function" error. I’m running an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and I’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting steps, but nothing seems to resolve it.
Here is what I have already tried:
Confirmed Virtualization (SVM Mode) is Enabled in BIOS.
Disabled Secure Boot.
Disabled Core Isolation / Memory Integrity.
Disabled Hyper-V.
I’ve double-checked everything in my Windows settings, but the error persists. Is DBVM known to have compatibility issues with the newer AMD Zen 5 architecture, or is there a specific background service/Windows feature I might be overlooking?
Could this be related to a hidden hypervisor conflict, or is there something specific to the 9800X3D that I’m missing? Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
edit: I also am using the private version(patron) of cheat engine and can see the dbk64 loaded at the top left but doesent work
EDIT2: I got it to show DBVM in green but right when I load it my pc crashes

as admin execute: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
also try gpedit.msc and search for virtualization based protection
