How do I cheat?

hello all,
I'm using Cheat Engine 7.5 right now (tried 7.6 too) with the DBVM-Level Debugger (don't want to use VEH).
When I start up CE, I can see "DBK64 LOADED" in the top left, which seems good. But here's the weird part - whenever I try to attach the debugger to any process (even CE's own tutorial files), I keep getting an "Access Violation" error.
I've already turned off my antivirus, there's no anticheat software running, and I've disabled all the extra settings, intel CPU, Windows 11 [24H2]
Anyone have any ideas what might be going on? |

get an older version of windows or wait till next version of ce

thanks so much for your reply, I figured out that Hyper-V was causing the issue (just mentioning this in case anyone else runs into the same problem), so I temporarily disabled it in Control Panel while I work with the binaries.
I'll just wait for the next version since it's pretty buggy with win 11 24H2.
by the way do Patreon members get access to beta builds? Last time I checked, it only offered the Mac version and Patreon builds that didn't have any major changes like custom driver names or anything like that. |

I do sometimes post beta versions yes. Also some standalone fixes before I have a beta out, like the dbvm fix for 24h2
