I'm using a "standard" structureform to allow users to edit particular values.
=> in this example, they select an entry and then just click the 'folder' icon to create/open the "corresponding" structure.

Q: is it possible to offer 'dropdown fields' here (just like in memrecords) ?
=> in the example, i have 3 fields; each with their proper dropdown_list of choices. Iow it has to be defined per element.

btw: just a nice to have; and i have been amazed before so who knows... Cool
