Cheat Engine

Hey there! I've used cheat engine for basic things like changing some values, speedhacks on games and stuff, basic, not really anything advanced. Recently, I got into the game called ADOFAI or A dance of fire and ice, and I tried to use the speedhack feature from cheat engine on it... but it doesnt seem to work, all of the animations seem to slow down or to go faster depending on my setting, but the gameplay itself doesnt really change. I know infact it does slow it down, but the game is build so it has an internal clock that cannot be changed with the speedhack feature. I know theres probably a way to slow down the game automatically but it seems nearly impossible to find this internal clock so i can slow it down, it might be just because I'm not good with cheat engine. What I noticed was that cheat engine manages to pause the game while scanning. My request / question is the following: If possible, cheat engine to be updated with another speedhack mode where its basically pausing and unpasuing the game rapidly, that would bypass the internal clock. Or, an advanced user who has a lot of experience with CE to make a table to this particular game, making me able and all of the users to slow down the internal clock. Thank you!
