I'm new to this and used a cheat engine table I found online.

I used it to edit my characters levels and saved the game as normal. Now though, any time I finish a battle my XP bar starts over from zero. So it's permanently stuck at level 34 and I can't go any higher.

I've tried uninstalling cheat engine, rebooting my PC etc. Is there any way to just fully clear any modifications from my game? How can I fix this.

Edit: Ok I managed to sort of fix it. Here's what I did in case anyone has a similar issue.

At the bottom of the cheat table there was an option called "Align value with member's maximum" or something like that. Basically it brought my whole party up to the same level as my highest level character. Ended up a little overleveled but my XP was working again as normal.

Load a previous save from before the cheating or reload the table and set your character level back down to where it was originally.

Just once character of multiple? Reinstall the game and see if that fixes it. I wouldn't expect a cheat table to target something that is eventually stored in the game files, but it isn't impossible.
