Hi DB, I just wanted to request a feature for the data dissector tool. I think every element in a structure should have another display property say "Comment" which can hold a custom comment(string). It is especially useful when the element is an Enum or even a class and we can just add its string name in the comment and it should be displayed.

For example, if the value is Byte 1 and in the enum class it is named Tool the display could be:
Offset-Description Address:Value(Comment)
0x2A-ItemType 1122AABB:1(Tool)

The "(Tool)" is the comment.

Furthermore, an option to disable/enable the display of the comment would be even better.

You can change the description of elements in the dissect data structure window. Right click it, "Change element", set the description to whatever

Yes, I know but the description is the name of the element (field). Comment can be anything, like the string value name.
