Cheat Engine

Hi yall, I have a dll i want to inject into a source engine game. The dll works on my main pc, but for some reason, it does not work on my laptop. LoadLibraryA returns null, and when i try to inject it with cheat engine, it shows this error message:

Perhaps you are missing some of the dlls it needs ? e.g the c debug runtime ?

msvcrt.dll is loaded already!
I found out that the import is successful when i try to import it with LoadLibraryExA and the flags are set to 1, but then the dll is imported incorrectly and it crashes when i try to call any function from it (`call mydll.dll+HEX` will point to HEX like mydll.dll address was 0).

perhaps the dll is compiled to use msvcrtd.dll instead

this is why I recommend static linking the runtime instead
