How do I cheat?

everytime i try to install cheat engine im met with this error. im not sure what to do an i havent seen any issues with a similar path. i did use cheat engine in the past but i decided to uninstall it because i didnt use it, in the past no errors would appear. i have tried to set the permission on the folder in the regeditor but the error stil shows up and the permissions get removed.

It's because you lack privileges. You can use this command from the command prompt window (with admin privileges).
Code:

takeown /F "C:\Program Files\Cheat Engine 7.4" /R


Assuming your installation path is the same. If not, replace the path with the correct path that you have.
