How do I cheat?

So I'm relatively new to CE but I've been taught that to get the entity address you need to open the debugger on a player value. I am using BlueStacks Emulator to hack a mobile game called Dragon Sim Online, and when I open the debugger, nothing shows up. I have tried windows and VEH debugger and DBVM doesn't work for me. Whenever I try to open the debugger on windows or VEH, it just shows a blank list with no values. Please can anyone help?
