What is the proper order for timers and the functions that are called?
I believe that I remember DB indicating a function should be compiled prior to calling. That implies to me that timers should be located towards generally at the bottom of the code list.
Is this correct?

Just make sure that the function exists by the time the function is referenced

you can declare the function a lot lower, as long as the code that references it is executed after the function has been defined
