Cheat Engine

When I step through entities, I notice that none of them, including the player, seem to have any sort of string reference to... pretty much anything? I can't find the player name, or the npc names or anything.

I checked them out in structure view and checked to see if any of the pointers are actually pointers to names or something that would hold that data, but I'm coming up with nothing.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong (probably), any tips on how to search for something like this? How can I figure out the name of the entities?

Fyi, this is Half Life 1 singleplayer, and I know that entities should be called e.g. monster_headcrab or monster_scientist etc, but I don't know how they are stored or referenced.
