Hey, the question in the title might sound a bit stupid, i know that increasing the max level adds more offsets and therefore you get more results, however I mean something different.
For example if I scan with a max level of 5 I get around 5000 results in the first 2 minutes. If I set the max level to 6, I only get 120 results in the first 5 minutes. What is the reason for this? Are the high offsets scanned first? Is it possible to set an order that first 1 then 2 then 3 offsets and so on should be scanned? or is this due to something else.
Also what is the "Maximus offset value" for and which would be a good value if you usually dont find pointers with the default settings (I have it on 3000 right now).

it just means it found a pointerpath that leads to more dead ends.
it has to finish that path first before it continues with the others
the scan is done starting from the lowest offsets.
assume that if at level 1 offset 8 leads to a long path with useless pointers while level 1 offset 30 would result in valid pointers, if the level depth is high it will evaluate a lot more of the level 1-8 offset before it continues with level 1-30 offset
of course, it doesn't really matter as only the endresult matters. (a canceled pointerscan is just a waste of time)
3100 offset is good enough, but if you can debug check the max offsets you encounter _________________
