|
|
I am currently facing a problem where I need to freeze a value between a specific range, I have found how to allow freezing in a single direction but not in a range. Has this been implemented?

You can freez a big buffer using an array of bytes:

Could you describe how this could be used to freeze a single normal address in between a range?

Well, I guess you could freeze individual bytes with that, but you can't exactly customize the range that much and saturating arithmetic won't work.
Use a Lua timer. Read the value, check lower/upper bounds, and write a new value if necessary.

Oh! Sorry! Now I understand what you mean, I thought you meant freeze a range of addresses.
As far as I know there is no builtin option that allows you to do this, but these are things you could implement in assembly and probably lua as well.
One of the easiest and crudest methods to implement would be to inject some code in order to detour any thread of the process and make them carry out the routine of reading and writing the value, and after doing that, put it back in the place where you got it (a simple code injection).
I apologize again for misunderstanding your request.

Oh alright, I assumed it already existed and I was just unable to find it. I'll use the lua method ParkourPenguin suggested while I wait for the range freeze to be implemented if it ever does get implemented
