How do I cheat?

 Posted: Wed Aug 18, 2021 10:01 am Post subject: Ninja Gaiden values don't change |

When I change a value from ninja gaiden, value immediately reverts to old value.
If I were to exemplify(Since I can't add a link, I'll do it by typing):
I found my health value = Value 900
And i change = I changed 900 to 1200
And the value immediately returns to its original state = Value is back to 900
This is a single player game.
Is there any way to bypass this hurdle?

is this inside an emulator? If so, is mem_mapped part of the scan regions?

computer port(steam version) not emulator.

try doing 1 byte value scans for health, even though it won't show the correct value it may be able to find it
(in case the port decided to keep using big endian )

thanks, I searched the values by 1 byte and found the correct value and was able to replace.

Address can be virtual protected, so to write something in that address you need to rewrite address
