Is there a link somewhere to CE 6.8ish? The new installer doesn't work. I run it, and it asks for language. I press English and OK. It says Welcome to CheatEngine installer. I press next. It says Thank you for installing CheatEngine click finish to close installer. Launch the application on exit. But it doesn't launch and at further research it is not on the hard drive anywhere. It is not in any directory.

Turn of reputation based protection. Windows likely deleted CE before it finished downloading/installing

I think you have to do something with your windows security protocol.

Path: "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Defender Firewall" -->> Click "Allow an app or feature to bypass Windows Defender Firewall".

("Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Defender Firewall\Allowed applications")

If the "Allow another application" button is closed, press the "Change settings" button.
Then click the "Allow another application" button.

Find the installation file of CE (cheatengine.exe), select it, confirm, press the "Add" button and click "OK".

Now reinstall the application.

Note: On the installation screen, make sure that the path to install (Program Files) exists.

Hmm. I guess it was my firewall program. I didn't know CE was a net installer. I expected a full install. I disabled the firewall and it works. Very Happy
