Cheat Engine

Hello,

i want to use speedhack to slow down a game (scarlet nexus) but i dont want it to have an impact on the sound. i have been looking for a solution but everyone is looking for the opposite effect (slow both games and sound) and the answers i find is that speed hack does not impact the sound because its run by the hardware. My questions are : why is it different for (both game and sound are slowed) ? and is there a way to tell cheat engine to slow down only the game ?

FI : I'm using vesion 7.2, i tried version 5.6.1 that has the old speedhack but it does not work (does not even activate) or i get a DLL injection failure if i uncheck the use old speedhack option.
