does debug_continueFromBreakpoint have a parameter to just step out?

The valid params are:
Code:

--breakpoint continue methods:
co_run=0
co_stepinto=1
co_stepover=2


You'll probably want stepover.

sorry but no. I didn't ask about steop over, i asked about step out. Guess you can't do it?

The Lua engine does not expose the functionality for this directly. But is something you could request that DB adds in the future.

In regards to what is needed, this is how CE currently does it:

getMemoryViewForm().miDebugExecuteTillReturn.doClick()
