Hello, I was wondering if it were possible to export a series of highlighted and copied addresses into Excel or a spreadsheet program?
It'd be really nice top keep the same format of "Active/Desc/Address/Type/Value" when it gets pasted into Excel. I was wondering about ways to do this and came up with:
1) Can Excel be programmed to read the constant-XML that CE produces, so it will automatically parse it and organize it when it gets pasted?
2) Using Powershell or something with Regex to parse out the sections into a CSV or list.
3) Using Lua directly through CE -- Maybe writeToClipboard?
You could just use lua to create a comma separated value file which Excel and Libreoffice Calc can load. And I'd go with lua, you can even add a menu item that runs the export function. _________________
I think the easiest way for what I need is to just copy-paste chunks of my CT table and paste them into Excel 'cause it has an XML-parsing system.
I had used writeToClipboard, but it capped out at 200 entries. I also did something with a Lua script that wrote a CSV, but i couldn't figure out how to format it.
