How do I cheat?

I wanted to make every normal block in Royal Guard style to be a Royal Block. I thought I can just 'see what writes to this address' of the Royal Guard gauge, copy the instruction of the Royal Block, and apply it to the normal block. It didn't work because it is showing me the same instruction for both. Any input of how to change an instruction with another would be greatly appreciated.
