How do I cheat?

when i try to open ce, it opens but its invisible on the desktop and it does appear on the task manager.i am not using any av and i tried to run with admin and to run the cheatengine-i386 and cheatenginex86_64.
please help

Try and run the ceregreset.exe tool that comes with CE to reset its settings.
