Hi! I tried editing my MR in Monster Hunter using Cheat Engine, putting it to 68, but this left me with my MR being stuck at 68 and doesnt seem to ever increase or decrease when I complete hunts.
I for some absolute retard reason forgot to backup my save file, which isnt the whole world because everything still works except that, but if this is somehow fixable/revertable I dont know how, as I cant look for changing values when it is stuck at 68.
Advice from someone who knows more would be highly appreciated!

| I don't know neither the game nor the abbreviations you refer to but if this "MR" is a characteristic of the character you can disassemble the player's structure and if you are lucky you will be able to find the value you are looking for (the value 68), probably the reason why it is blocked is that before being overwritten that value, checks are carried out to cancel any changes.

MR is "Master Rank", sort of a level you get when completing tasks, but the grind is a bit too real for me, hence how I got into this mess.
How does one "disassemble the player's structure"? Id love to know if I got lucky

It is explained in step 9 of Cheat Engine.
To disassemble the structure you can use the player's life address and in any case also look for about 64 bytes before

| Hm I think that is a bit beyond my CE comprehension, im not really sure how to solve tutorial 9 to begin with. In Monster Hunter, I dont see my exact values as the game goes, I just see a bar. I dont know what numbers to work with.

| Start with a scan using the unknown value looking for the player's health and use the address to disassemble the structure
|

Did someone have a solution today ?
EDIT : I have the solution.
Use the flingtrainer software, on their website, at : trainer/monster-hunter-world-trainer/
Use this, edit your rank and you will ba abble to increase your rank by completing quest
