Cheat Engine

Hi guys!

i am approaching windows and some hacking stuff in these days and i'm starting using CE for memory manipulation!

I'm not really skilled in games stuff, but i think it is a big topic where you can learn a lot! Now, my question is:

I've basically created a memory dump by using HxD, where i found some interesting function (for example a function called "add_money" ) .

I used CE for search the same "strings", and the program return to me the name of the strings and some pointers (with its value).
The problem is: i would like pass to the function, the int value, for trigger the function and start the "exploit"... how can i do that.. ?


I' M PRETTY SURE TO LOOKING IN THE WRONG WAY, but if someone can share with me some hints or tricks i'm really happy to learn something !!
