That's a good brief description. "Move" means it moves data, "Single-Precision Floating-Point Values" are floats, "Packed" means it's moving several values at once, and "Aligned" means the memory address it's moving to must be aligned on some boundary.
e.g.
movaps xmm1,[eax+30] - moves 4 floats from eax+30 (must be aligned to 16 bytes) into xmm1 _________________
