after installing cheat engine my pc came up with a so called virus called trojan bearfoos or something like that i uninstalled cheat engine but i cant get this virus away and i ended up pressing accept on this device or whatever its called what this a bad idea? and if so what do i do?

Assuming you didn't use your anti virus to "clean it for you" go to "Add or remove programs" in settings, find the latest installed software and uninstall what you installed

Note though that if you did let your anti virus clean it up, there is a big chance it broke the uninstall procedure


(Also, it's likely just a false positive)

i put in the exe in virus total and got 8 detections
and put the open source 7.2 verison, and got 15
