Everytime im using breakpoints the graphics get all messed up.

It seems that the game is using old graphics and a specific screen resolution. And when the breakpoint happens, and i alt tab to work in cheat engine the graphics dont go back to normal until i end the process. This makes it almost impossible to debug and see what im doing, since even the mouse doesnt display.

I was able to open paint, and paste the screenshots to save them and show them here. All a bit blinded.

Please help me fix this problem. So that i can work and see the values etc...

Seem like CGA graphics, before the days of VGA.
These games had no concept of windowing, they run on top of a basic OS , accessing the hardware almost directly (anyone remember the IRQ days?).
That said, if the emulator does not take care of fixing the resolution and colours, there is nothing you can go.
Seems like a DOS game so go with GameWizard32 instead.

The game in the images is the good old first version of Age of Empires 2.
You sure its DOS? It doesnt seem like it.

no. These graphics only happen because of the breakpoint. Else it is fine. Maybe i didnt explain myself well.

Well perhaps i cant use breakpoints in this situation.
