Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here in this community.. Trying to get recommendations on some programming books that anyone must have found useful...
here's my current collection would love to make some additions to my current list:)
1) Effective Java by Joshua Bloch
2) Javascript: the Good parts by Douglas Crockford
3) Head First Java by Bert Bates and Kathy Sierra
If you're looking for information pertinent to gamehacking, pick a lower level language (C, C++, Rust, anything compiled).
I guess java/javascript is fine if you know literally nothing about programming, but python may be a better introduction.
Look for "The Definitive C++ Book Guide and List" on StackOverflow. There's one for C too, but if you intend to eventually learn both languages, learn C++ first and then C. _________________
I don't know where I'm going, but I'll figure it out when I get there.
