I know lots of other people have had this error but ive read through lots of them and none of the solutions mentioned work for me. Ive uninstalled before and after running the kernal module unloader, I don't have any AV, I know the needed files are there, even when I look in the about section it says DBVM is enabled. But every time I try to do anything with DBK, if its just enabling read/wite process memory or even just clicking the green text in the about box.

make sure your .exe is not edited in any way and installed in a path with ascii characters only

Standard install from the cheatengine website path is F:\Programs\Cheat Engine 7.1

run the kernelmodule unloader and restart windows
then run the kernelmodule unloader again

if that doesn't work it may help if you disable secure boot in bios

also, what error do you get? The driver is not responding, or just a failure to load ?

Secure boot being disabled did the same thing and running the unloader also didn't do anything.

Are you sure your CE is not tampered with in any way ? e.g renamed

100% sure, ive reinstalled it multiple times from the website

Am I doing something wrong?
