I have an instruction which is accessing 2 values. I have a reliable pointer to one of those values and no reliable way to access the other one. Is there a way with which I can copy only the unknown value?
Traverse the pointer path in the code injection and test if the instruction is using that address. If so, don't copy it; else, copy it. Exactly how to do this depends on the pointer path, the original code, and to a lesser extent the code around the original code. _________________
I don't know where I'm going, but I'll figure it out when I get there.
