|
|
George Floyd's murder is not an example of racism. George Floyd died because of bad policing practices, he did not die because of was black.
Black people are more likely to be killed by an officer per capita, but that's not proof of systemic racism in America's police. Correlation is not causation The data actually points to socioeconomic factors having a larger role in the likelyhood of dying by a police officer, but even if it wasn't, just because black people show higher in a statistic that does not mean the cause is systemic racism.
Black Lives Matter is not fighting the same battle as Martin Luther King. In the post civil war time, the "reconstruction era" is what people call the integration of the Confederate States of America back into the USA, as well as integrating black people into society who were formerly slaves. Reconstruction succeeded in the sense that the south peacefully integrated and never seceded again, but reconstruction was a total human rights failure particularly for black people. Jim Crow laws already existed in the north, and it's influence gained steam and spread heavily to the south during reconstruction. That's what the 1950s-1960s civil rights movement was fighting against, and was 100% successful, resulting in enactment of the Civil Right Acts which made any kind of Jim Crow illegal. Black Lives Matter is not fighting against systemic racism, as it does not exist.
Black Lives Matter is not fighting against police brutality, it's a rally for Black Nationalism. They are advocating more for the advancement for black people in society, rather than the reform of police practices. Black Nationalists are taking advantage of America's sympathy of injustices of the past to further an agenda of Black Supremacy.

A bad take or a take you disagree with?
Actually, you might find you and I support similar things.
1. Introduce legislation to peg the minimum wage to a fixed mathematical algorithm that includes variables like purchasing power, money supply and GDP. If the federal reserve wants to keep printing more money and increase money supply, then federal minimum wage should rise in proportion.
2. Temporarily implement progressive tax brackets to create a tax surplus, to balance the national debt.
3. Ban the use of self driving cars on public roads for commercialized use. It's an effective way of protecting commercial drivers from becoming outsourced by robots.
4. Federalize the school curriculum, and add a subject to the curriculum that functions as practical skills. Learn things like driving a car, financing mortgages, cooking, home repair, etc...
5. Demilitarize the police. Government use of tear gas actually violates international law of chemical weapons. A rubber bullet wound won't kill you, but it can obliterate your eyeball.

You and I dont agree on shit. You're a fucking hack, a useful idiot at best, a regurgitating moron at worst.
You're an authoritarian, and you sound like a wanna be federalist. I am a libertarian. Taxation without representation is theft. None of that represents what I believe or value. People like you are the reason why I even exist in the political spectrum, because you have retarded as fuck takes, and you make shit up, under the guise of FAMILY VALUES, AND JERBS AND THE ECONOMY.
Literally, if you wanna do something good for the economy and society, go out into the streets and protest until you get covid, because you're a fucking idiot who no one respects, and as a martyr you might get some white moms to share some really fucking stupid Facebook posts.
You should have a giant tattoo on your forehead, I SUCKED TRUMPS DICK SO HARD IN 2016, NOTICE ME SENPAI
You're a fucking beta simp for hack con men and intellectuals who feed you misinformation Topped off with just enough words to sound intelligent and with great forethought, but in reality are some of the least thought through plans and are completely retarded. Really? Ban self driving cars? Fuck you, you are such an insult to my intelligence, and I've never honestly felt that way or truly cared enough about anyone online but you. You must have some sort of mental deficiency. What are you? an oil shill? Humans drive like shit and get drunk and high, and get into deadly accidents even sober. Thats never going to change. There isn't a consitutional right on driving, I say leave it entirely to technology and robots, it will be figured out in time, and you're a fucking moron creating road blocks for the sake of what it means to be authoritarian, you gotta flex that micro penis you got

Ignoring the ad hominem and strawman.
Around 4% of the entire workforce are commercial drivers. The trucking industry is SUPER profitable, which is why generally the pay scale for trucking is very high. The job market for uneducated Americans have been shrinking for decades as automation and globalization pressures torched the manufacturing industry. The majority of humans are not capable of going to college, so there must always be a strong market for unskilled labor. There has been growth in service/hospitality industry over the last 20 years, but those industries have razor thin profit margins, so the employers literally can not afford to pay their employees a living wage.
Self driving cars are not science fiction, they are here. There will be a mass displacement of millions of workers, workers who held some of the the highest paying jobs in the entire unskilled job market. The solution is easiest to see: ban the commercial use of autonomous transportation for commercial use.

you're fucking pathetic. go start a podcast program if you're just gonna regurgitate literal diarrhea for morons to believe and consume, at least you'll stop living with your parents and being a drain on them if you make it. You have no brain of your own, honestly. You are brainwashed by this system and it's hilarious to watch you interact with it, looking at things and reading and posting things as if they are some really pioneering thoughts.
Self driving cars are not science fiction, they are here. Like whoa dude, wow. thanks for pointing that out, That's totally not an empty platitude, like basically everything else you say.
it's like you are programmed to be deeply and uncharacteristically obsessed with the least thought out points and threads on hot topics that everyone already understands everything about, You are the literal slowpoke/internet explorer meme. You are slow.
