Cheat Engine

I am trying to crack the key and/or money on Farmville 2. I am using memu emulator on windows and have the latest cheat engine (7.1 I think), I have then used memuhandler as the process and have found the addresses for the displayed figure for money (i.e. if I search an amount, then spend something, return and it shows previous and new figure reflecting the spend) But it does not let me change the amount, I have tried ticking the settings for emulator (scan settings - mem mapped), but no matter how hard I try when I enter a new figure it resorts back, hence why I think its the displayed figure and not the actual currency if that makes sense. I have also followed another hacker who suggested the hex rule of multiply by 8 but when I then go to spend, it won't let me do next scan to reduce the addresses, so can't eliminate down...I have tried all the other wonderful hacks but dont want to enter personal info and/or pay for things so Im a bit stuck now, been at this about 6 hours...help please....
