Cheat Engine

Hi,
there is this game that is on the xbox game pass and i play it on computer. I have been a huge success finding most of the data in 2 or 3 search but i am mostly a complete noob when it come to do more complicated stuff with it

so in the game, you can acquire trait or "mutation" and i am pretty sure i could also edit those with cheat engine but i have no idea on how to search for those. each new character start with one and you rarely see some floating on the ships in the game.

they probably also only have a number to identify them and that make them even harder to edit. i am not asking for a complete solution, just puch me in the right direction

- just hoping its not a huge load of work, like trying to map a couple of them to digits, then trying to find that value that does not or barely change for a whole game ...
