Hey there,

it seems like chaning values doesn't have any impact even if the displayed number and everything related to that value changes.

In my case I am trying to change the ammount of water I got, which is consumed from time to time whenever a survivor drinks.
After scanning several times I got left with 8 values:
1. Adress contains the ammount of water after the next survivor drinks (chaning this doesnt have any impact, all other adresses contain the same old ammount and keep decreasing)
2. Adress contains the current ammount of water, can be changed but has no impact on other adresses nor an effect)
3. Adress contains the current ammount of water, can be changed but has no impact on other adresses nor an effect)
4. Adress contains the current ammount of water, can be changed and has an impact on the other 4 adresses, changes the displayed value as well but survivors still dying of thirst.
5. - 8. Changes to whatever 4. is set to.

Even if I change all 8 values right after starting the game to 1000 everything looks great within CE, but survivors still die to thirst before the values reach 0.

Which game ?

and use float type.

I guess you found the display values.
The values that are left, they doesn't have any effects or ?
BUT you see the floating value is going down?

You have to attach the debugger
and "what writes to this address"

maybe they values are encrypted also.



Thats my way;
I search with change/unchange untill I found the encryspted value (it may is encrypted)
and for the display value.
