I've been trying to use "Find out what access/writes..." feature but was unable to get anything from it. It never gives any results. I'm using VEH debugger, as Windows debugger wasn't able to attach to process.

I tried clearing the debug flags and also running CE as administrator.

Maybe it's the anti-debug not allowing me to do that? If so, what should I look forward to for bypassing it and moving forward?

Is the target an emulator? e.g bluestacks

It's not an emulator. It's a game from 2004 from EA Games called Lotr Bfme I.

This is the first game that i try using CE on, so it's possible I could be be doing something wrong.

Connect to the correct process
Then find the address you're looking for and make sure it is the actual address and not a shadow (Change it, and check that it stays changed when using it in the game)
then when that is the case you can use find what access/writes on it

then go in the game and make sure the code that accesses/writes that address actually gets executed by using it

I've done that. When scanning for the desired value, it gave 4 results. Only writing to one of them succesfully changed the value in game. When scanning for what accesses this address, however, no results were found, even though the value in game was increasing with time (gold indication). I also tried spending the gold to see if it triggered some part of the code but still no results.

I did not try scanning for other addresses, but as soon as I get access to my computer I'll try doing that.

I tried the scanning feature with other variables in the game and still had no success. I can only think that the anti debug is messing up with it. I don't know what to do anymore.

I will try other games to see if I can make it work.

Try altering the debugger settings of CE as well. Instead of the default 'Windows Debugger' try using the VEH debugger.

Perhaps try the option "override existing breakpoinrs" and see how that goes

the print screen question is when it freezes it indicates the windows kernelmode debugger is active. And when that is active VEH won't work
