I don't want to pop up the message box when the decodeFunction () data is wrong.
Code:
function myfun()
  local fun=decodeFunction('string')
  if fun then
    fun()
  end
end

pcall(myfun)

only proper solution is to have valid data

This is like asking a game not to crash because you're running randomly generated assembler code

if you get it from a website where it sometimes gives a 500 when under load then let the site return the 'decodeFunction(' part of the script as well
