Can this be fixed? Ui most times takes hit and becomes unresponsive.
I dont even use SCRIPT here I am dealing with Emulator and i noticed freezing address makes CE lag like hell and not respond

are you accessing mem_mapped memory? Those can be slow yes

also what cpu do you have and which anti virus? E.g avira and avast can severaly slow down your system when ce is running

adding an exception won't help
there is a writeprocessmemory hook present. So writes will cause a read by the AV to read the original memory and interpret the code and then reinterpret the changed code. And since it's mapped memory caches won't work, so those reads by the av will take quite a bit longer than usual and since writes happen every 100ms or less by default that will be felt in the gui

what you can do is increase the freeze timer in settings

does the mouse also lag ?

And try the increased freeze timer

I can't make your cpu or windows install faster (without being classified as a trojan that uninstalls your AV)
You either have to use a higher freeze value or uninstall all security tools that are slowing down the writes on non cached memory
