I'm playing an RPG with insanely low drop rates for certain items, so I'm trying to either A: modify the drop rate. B: find the value of the item so I can change it manually.
It's a traditional rpg, each item is from 0 to 99 in the inventory. I've managed to modify two items I do have to 99. And if I sell all of an item then modify the value I can add the item back into my inventory. (These aren't the exact values, it's just a large number. I can find the value for two different items and the number added between each individual item but those numbers aren't the same for different items).
see if there's an item id next to the count and change it until you find the id for the item you want, or if not an id perhaps a class virtual table pointer.
Alternatively if there's a small number of items in the game and the inventory has it's own spot for all of them see if it's just an array of n ints in memory all next to each other and find which offset is for the item you want /shrug _________________
