Okay... I'm so confused. Can someone help me? I wanted to make custom keyboard shortcuts for VLC to change the speed with hotkeys.

There are hotkeys in the program for going up and down by 0.1, but I wanted to make it that I can use my numpad and just click the speed I want

Code:

"1 = 1x"

"2 = 2x"

"3 = 3x"

etc.

I figure, well, I have Cheat Engine. I'll just use float, find the value and make custom hotkeys in there I find the float value. When I freeze it, I can't change the speed in the program.

However, when I change it manually in Cheat Engine, the speed doesn't change. What am I doing wrong? How can I find the base value of this?
