When i change the value on a certain game the value goes right back to what it was no matter what type i scan for or if i choose unkown value or click the box on the left side

this have nothing to do with scan type, possible things:
- an instruction constantly writing to the address
- simple value check mechanism
- game never reads the value (keeps the values in a register, do math and write back ... very rare thing to see in games)
but in your case its most likely the first one, so see what writes to that address.

I'm not presupposing -- but just offering a caution, just in case.
It's best to avoid using CE for online games.
If you change the information on your own PC (the client) using CE
But you're playing an online game where the server keeps track of the values
This would be the expected outcome: the server will overwrite client side changes.
Plus, they'll probably know you're cheating.
Every two or three months, they typically do mass banning of cheaters.
Never use CE with your primary account online.
