Cheat Engine

Hello,

I'm quite new to cheating in games using cheat engine, pointers and c++ and I've encountered a problem while using pointers in the game Terraria (Steam version ofc)

What happens is: every time I get a pointer, when I restart the game, it becomes no longer usable (it's value becomes "??" and when I try to re-scan, there are 0 results).

So when I make a c++ program that writes memory, it works for the session I'm on but no longer works when I restart the game.

because its dirty unity bytecode stuff, still possible to find a pointer just increase structure size and level. (other solution is to make an injection to get your address)
