I've gone through a bunch of tutorials on cheat engine. About 95% of them are lame and easy. You do a search for the value and you find it easily. Then they're able to manipulate that value as they please and then the remainder of the tutorial is about hacking that value further.
However, on many occasions the most difficult aspect is to find that value in the first place. Using changed/unchanged. And that is an area that nobody covers.
Next, sometimes you may find the coded value but changing it doesn't work, or it works temporarily.
So, are there any quality tutorials/videos for cheat engine out there?

There really isn't much to show except a lot of scanning, plus a lot of trial and error. The main thing tends to be thinking of how the value is stored plus how and why it's changed; then just trying different things until you can find an address you can manipulate.

Then you most likely have the wrong address or the value is server side. Even with something like recoil; freezing the right address will have a visible effect, but it can be very small and easy to miss. And something like ammo, even if encrypted you should be able to freeze the value.

You can try Stephen Chapman or Cheat The Game on youtube if nothing on the forum or wiki is helping. And in video format, I know some times I just see things that don't come across real well in text and pictures.
