Hello everyone, I'm new here and I got a question related to my subject

playin RE2 remake and I am trying to see whether I can find the ITEM ID for lets say the Magnum gun so I can instant pop one in my inventory anytime
but after countless searching online, I am stumped.

so any kind souls out there that can give me a good pointer on how to search for the item ID in RE2 (or any other game for that matter)

did u try checking the game files or you can make it popup in your inventory but how do you do it? if its with changing values then try debugging it

if I knew how I wouldn;t be asking here.. hehe.
I did try to search whether an item is available in a "specific" slot in the inventory
and successfully narrowed it down to 2 addresses, it shows "0" when the slot if empty and "1" when I put an item I am trying to identify in it, say a Ammo box of bullets.

but changing the addresses a narrowed down doesn't put or remove anything in that slot. so I figured getting the "ITEM ID" of the item is a more logical conclusion.

hence my call for help here.. haha
