Cheat Engine

Hey all, I'm a fairly basic cheat engine user, I know how to scan for simple values and change them but that's about it. N++ is a platformer that has been giving me trouble as there aren't any values within the levels to scan for.

I've found one snippet of info through google, and that is an "Array of byte" value for the simple Toggle Mine, (the Toggle Mine being one of many enemies) allowing me to 'disable' them.

My question is how can I find addresses for other enemies in-game, or even the player character, when there are no numbers on screen to start scanning with.

I know this isn't a lot of information to go with so I'm happy to answer any and all questions
