Hello! I'm new to cheat engine and still searching for new stuff. I just would like to ask, for example, I am looking for a set of enemies on screen. I finally found the initial base address of each player and all of them have the same last offset which is pointed by their initial base addresses (with a total of 4 offsets) from their main base address.
I did get the 1st player and 2nd player main base address. The difference between player 1 and 2 is partly in the 3rd offset with a difference of 4. (0 and 4) tried changing the 3rd player by adding 4 but it gave me a different result.
My question is, in order for me to get all of them. Do I need to manually scan each of the players to get the main base pointers of all players? or is there another way to get all of them starting from 1 onwards?

Code: | offset: 08
offset: 00
offset: 04
offset: 0C
address: 00123ABC+00XXX |
yes you can manually change the offset, and it can save you time.
many times you will find for example health and stamina near each other and the difference offset is '04' maybe inventory items as well, or clip and total ammo.
even player skills or so, but in some games you may have to add 08 instead of 04
or sometimes changing the last offset wont give a good result, so you will have to play with 3rd 2nd offset. (its not all about randomly changing the offset, you can guess - look at hex dump for better guessing and dissect data pointers, static address fields maybe, mem-regions and ... etc.)

Hello! Thanks for the reply, just an update about my problem. I found out that the second address I got was actually not the real 2nd address for the second player that may appear on screen but rather the main address to detect if a new player shows on screen.
Now I tried a couple of times trying to get the main base pointer of 2nd player. using point scanner multiple times. However, it keeps changing every time I try to look for the pointer. After a couple of scans and it always ends up showing 0 results.
I also tried manually checking the difference by using (Find out what addresses this function and dissect) between 2nd, 3rd, and the 1st player showing all the 3 addresses of the players and I compared them one by one a couple of times and they always have a different range in between.
Is it possible to use the (Find out what addresses this function) and use it instead as an indicator to scan players written in another language like c# or are there still another way to find those addresses?
