|
|
So i have ceserver up and running on my android phone, from there i can use network connect. start up a game, i can find the value i want, i then find out what writes to the address, one opcode comes up. here is the issue. i can't modify it at all. i can't create an assembly script either. When i try to modify it it just won't change, and I'm really unsused with how the memory viewer is in android (weird opcodes etc like this)
edit: i also tried pointer scan for an address, that returned nothing even tho i checked a big offset with many levels.
Any tips?

hmm, have you tried changing the instruction using a 4 byte type ? (I have no idea, it could be a new android protection that forbids writing, or perhaps it's something else)
it's also not inside a module, or the modulelookup has failed (if failed, that explains why pointerscan won't work)

Thanks for tip, i will try that later and report back. And btw the picture above is just a random address i choosed, nothing static about it, just wanted to show the weird opcodes.
Just to be sure, you do mean that i add the base address to the list, change the value to 4 bytes and then modify it that way using bytes instead of changing the opcode using text "mov sub" etc?
