I have been using the bandcamp website, and the Bandcamp app of my smartphone. And one of the things you notice about music in general is just how much of it you have to quickly write off in order to find the good stuff.
I find if you train yourself you can work out if you'll like a song after LITERALLY 2 seconds.
Bandcamp has something i haven't seen anywhere else on any music distribution platform, it has square buttons of each song. You can flick through each song VERY quickly depending on the speed of your connection.
I calculated that if someone could program a script I would be able to listen to 1800 x 2 second clips of each song in under an hour.
Call this "Hard-Skipping" if you will. This might save me getting RSI from filtering out all the bad tracks from the good.
I know of, no other music distribution platform, that lets you "Hard-Skip" as easily as Band camp, the radio doesn't have any Hard-Skipping shows, and I dont think MTV would ever have come up with the idea of playing 2 second segments of 1800 songs over 1 hour, so you can quickly find all the good stuff, without having to spend days and days listening to mediocre crappy songs.
Using Bandcamp has REALLY INSPIRED me. How hard would it be to write code/ an App that would play 2 second clips of 1800 songs streamed from the Internet, so i can "Hard-Skip" away to my hearts content..

Sorry If i made a post like this before in the past, I have a terrible memory....
