Say I have an address in the address list. I would like to run a function every time the value changes, this is needed even just for something as simple as presenting the value to the user (via a custom GUI). Is there some built in command for this, or do I need to set up a custom timer that reads the memory every x miliseconds?

you have to use a timer yes
