How do I cheat?

I used cheat engine on Hidden City Mystery of Shadows. It worked great until my computer rebooted (after updates 2 days later) Now my game will load, but with all sorts of glitches and kicks me out after 1 minute. It is unstable.
So I uninstalled, cleaned the registry and then reinstalled. But problem is, it was downloaded through Windows 10 Store App and the store shows I own it and when I re-download and install, the same issues. I even uninstalled the windows store app, so I could get a fresh download and install. No good. Still trys to load the same issues. Does anyone know how to completely rid myself of all traces of this game so I can start fresh? Thanks
