it's because i don't use https (and probably never will)
if you don't want that message use a different browser that isn't so paranoid or use an older version and disable auto updates

BTW, do you happen to be using Firefox 52?
You might want to flip these in about:config
| Code: | security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled
signon.autofillForms.http
|
Setting the first to false will disable that stupid unsecure warning.
Setting the second to true will allow autofilling as in previous releases.
Do these two and your Firefox 52 will behave like your 51.
Not sure what those peeps at Mozilla are smoking.
They decided to annoy users once again.

Thanks guys. I only started getting this message recently on Firefox for Ubuntu after it was silently updated. Good to know nothing on the website's end has changed.
